Revival Rugs is a home decor company that curates one-of-a-kind vintage rugs and collaborates with artisan partners around the world to create new handwoven, limited edition rugs. These rugs were gifted, however, all opinions are my own. This post contains affiliate links

Changing Seasons

It is late August, the kids have returned to school, and I’m wishing for all things autumn. In reality, autumn won’t arrive in Alabama for AT LEAST two more months, but that won’t stop me from forging ahead making everything cozy.

When I want to freshen up a room in our home, I often will play what my husband calls ‘musical rugs’. Swapping rugs from one room to another creates a different look. It is fun and keeps things feeling fresh, without us having to invest in new things for the home.

Revival reached out about partnering to share their amazing curated vintage rug collection, and I thought it was the perfect time to share how we are updating our secondary family living space for the changing seasons.

About the Revival Rugs Brand

If you’ve tried to hunt down the perfect vintage rug, you know how expensive and unpredictable it can be! Rugs come in varying conditions, might not always match the description given, and can be incredibly expensive. This company has set out to make things easier. Revival is a home decor company that curates vintage rugs and partners with worldwide artisans to create beautiful new rug collections. I love that Revival has a beautiful mix of vintage and new rug options, all at an approachable price point. The carefully curated vintage rugs have super clear descriptions, so I know exactly what to expect before it arrives.

Layering Rugs

This rug stopped me in my (virtual) tracks when looking through Revival’s rug selection. The only problem…it is too small for our space. *cue tears*

As I continued scrolling, I realized the Hart rug might be the perfect solution to my problem! Revival partners with artisans to create high-quality new rug collections as well.  The Hart line of rugs is made in varying colors of jute, a natural fiber that is eco-conscious and durable. It is available in a variety of standard sizes, and can even be made in a custom size if you need it!

While beautiful on its own, layering this durable jute rug under a smaller, vibrant vintage rug adds the perfect level of coziness and texture to this room. Honestly, it has a completely different feel than when we completed this room update at the end of the spring.

Final Thoughts on Revival Rugs

I’m super happy with my experience ordering from Revival. The rugs arrived quickly after my order was placed, and the rugs were exactly as described. I wouldn’t hesitate to order another rug (or three!) from Revival.
