Visiting St. Simons Island, Georgia
Taking kids to the beach in the summer can be a challenge, but it’s incredibly fun. We recently took our daughters to St. Simons Island for a family trip, and the experience really fun! The girls were in awe of Driftwood Beach (pictured above), and I love the relaxed coastal vibe of the island. We will definitely be heading back!
Having that extended beach time together was special – check out a few of my favorite memories.
Beach Trip Packing List
What’s in our bag? Well, a bunch of stuff! Here are some high points…and maybe a few call outs of MUST HAVE DO NOT SKIP items.
The ‘Best-Of’ Call Outs
Rookie Wellness Goodies
Y’all know how much I love my supplements from Rookie Wellness. RECOVERY, the BCAA & Electrolyte supplement, has been my can’t-live-without hydration product for long summer weddings days and beach days!
Shibumi Sun Shade
Okay, this literally is too good to be true. Powered by just the wind, the Shibumi beach shade is so ridiculously easy to use AND provides more shade than any umbrella could dream of. Let me know if y’all want a full review of this beach shade!
Left on Friday Swim
After eyeing Left On Friday swimwear for literal years (the colors and minimal designs totally had me hooked), I finally splurged and ordered a few pieces. Left On Friday’s swim is totally worth the hype (and the price point). I have the Top Shelf Top and Hi Tide Bottoms. I had to shout it out here, but I can totally do a full review in another post if y’all want! Let me know in the comments.
