Dewberry Organic Bedding Review

A review of Dewberry Organic Bedding for kids.

Remember last spring when I shared about a little room refresh for the girls’ rooms?

Well, it is September, which means it is *basically* fall. OBVIOUSLY, that means it is time for another room refresh. A month or so ago, the owner of Dewberry Kids reached out, asking if I might be interested in giving some feedback on their children’s bedding. They kindly sent over a Chamomile Bloom Bedding Bundle for each of my girls and wanted to hear my honest feedback as a parent. I truly appreciate when businesses listen to their customers.

The bedding reviewed in this post is gifted, however, this post is not sponsored, and all opinions expressed are my own. This blog post contains commissionable links.

All About Dewberry Kids

Dewberry Kids was created with a simple goal – to give parents a premium, sustainable bedding option for their little ones in kid-friendly designs.

I try to be conscious of the products we bring into our home, opting for organic fibers, versatile designs, and high-quality products that stand up to the wear and tear of everyday family life with young kids.

Here are a few of my favorite details:

+ GOTS-certified organic cotton

+ Usage of low-impact dye certified by OEKO-TEX STANDARD100

+ Compostable packaging

+ Thoughtful and carefully curated collections (I’m a gal who appreciates streamlined offerings)

Organic Bedding Offerings

One of the first things I noticed when I landed on Dewberry’s website is that their bedding is offered as pre-matched bundles.

Each bundle contains a pillowcase (or two for full), fitted sheet, and duvet cover in coordinating patterns. With one-click, everything you need is in your cart, ready to check out. No breaking the news to your kid that the matching duvet to the sheets they love is sold out – THANK YOU FOR THAT.

The initial release has four bundle options to suit your kid’s style – Chamomile Bloom, Cosmic Triangles, Carrotology, and Stars Luminary – with each available in twin or full size.

So, what are my thoughts?

I’m thrilled with this bedding.

The organic cotton is soft and easily cared for (a must when we are dealing with kid stuff).

The sheets have that magical crisp but cozy quality; if you know what I’m saying, then you know. Lived-in and soft from the get-go, but able to handle jumping on the bed.

I wanted to give a special shout-out to the duvet design – the buttons (made from a very durable nut fiber called corozo) are EASY FOR MY KIDS TO DO. Duvet buttons are notoriously a pain in the you-know-what. The duvet closure was designed specifically to be kid-friendly, a sweet nod to the heart of this brand. Because if you have kids… you know they want to be included in everything…including the tedious task of buttoning their freshly laundered duvet cover minutes before the lights go out.

My only complaint, which is relatively minor, is that I would like to purchase a few extra pillowcases because we keep two standard-sized pillows on our girls’ twin-size beds. This isn’t currently an option but might be in the future (per Dewberry’s FAQ page).
